  • Insane is now quotidian. Tesla Motors CEO Elon Musk announced today that the all-electric Model S sedan now comes with "Ludicrous Mode,".

Zero-to testing got a lot more interesting when Tesla's Model S PD with Ludicrous mode managed to accelerate harder than it could.

Tesla is a well-known manufacturer of electric vehicles. The company's founder is not Ilon Mask, as many believe. Mask is one of Tesla's main sponsors and her public face. The company has an interesting principle of work - they do not hide their designs and patents. All of them are available for use and application.

Model S is the safest, quickest car on the road—with industry-leading performance, range, and storage.

A carbon fiber spoiler provides Model S with incredible aerodynamics and the lowest drag coefficient of any vehicle in its class. However when you become a dad, your priority is to provide safety for your kids and wife at all time especially when you are on the road. The car will tell you exactly how far you can go and if there is a charger anywhere on your route. It remembers everything you did and what you prefer. Model S comes standard with advanced hardware capable of providing Enhanced Autopilot features today, and full self-driving capabilities in the future.

The type of car you drive can be pretty important to you as a man. It should be cool, have some power and is basically an extension of you as a person. However when you become a dad, your priority is to provide safety for your kids and wife at all time especially when you are on the road.

This usually means your car of choice will be a bit different than before. Well, the Tesla Model S is a car that combines the best of both worlds. The 90 stands for the battery capacity which in this case is 90 kWh, which is currently their highest model for the Model S, although they already have bigger range vehicles for their latest version of the Model X.

D stands for Dual Motor, meaning one in the front and one in the back. Giving a total of hp with a crazy torque of Nm. Which is as fast as an Lamborghini Aventador, making it the fastest sedan in the world. Besides the extremely fast and sporty feel of the Model S it also offers a lot of space and safety a family car needs.

Because of the use of electro motors Tesla has storage room in the front as well as in the back. Because we tested the fastest and most tuned up model the space under the hood is limited but if you chose to drive the version with 1 electro motor the space under the hood is completely free. Your stroller will fit perfectly in the trunk while you can put groceries or anything else you might want to take under the hood.

Look good as a man and great as a dad. The car is equipped with an Isofix system so you can fit most child seats in there without any problems. They did a great job on hiding the Isofix connection points, which are hidden in between the seats. It looks great, but makes it a little harder to fit the seat in than a regular more ugly Isofix installation. Not too bad though, because when you do not need to use the child-seats you wont notice any of those Isofix connections. Once you got used to the fact that the car does not make any sound what so ever, the car will basically become an extension of you as a person.

It is like setting up your iPhone for the first time. It remembers everything you did and what you prefer. It has a full on driving assistance system that guides you while you drive and makes sure you stay in your lane. Ok, it basically does everything on its own once you initiate Autopilot on the highway but that does not mean you can sit back and relax. It just makes driving extremely comfortable and assists you in every way possible.

So for example, when you adjusted the hight of the car because of a speed bump, it will automatically adjust the hight the next time you are on that road. The build in radar system detects any object that are near you, giving you a very safe and comfortable feeling. It might takes some getting used to, but once you are used to the fact that you need to charge your car it becomes natural.

In most cities there are public charging spots where you can park your car and with the use of a card you can power up your car relatively cheap. If you need to charge fast, Tesla offers supercharger all across Europe. Here you can charge for free and fill up the car super fast. Within 20 minutes it charges to half full. Perfect for when you are traveling long distances. Which leads to using more power resulting in less driving range. The battery capacity of this version holds 90 kWh, which will give you around kilometers.

The latest model has a full range of kilometers PD. The car will tell you exactly how far you can go and if there is a charger anywhere on your route. It will tell you if you can make it to the charger and how long it will take to charge up. Tesla keeps working on adding more charge points to make it easier for you to travel around Europe.
